Psalm 52: Our Favorite Weapon

The world of the Old Testament was a very different place defined by tribal deities, brutal warfare, and strange social customs. As a result, we often need help understanding the cultural context of ancient Israel before we can properly read and apply much of the Old Testament. There are some passages, however, that seem surprisingly contemporary. Psalm 52 is one of them.
